Your data on Nerbs.
Last updated September 6, 2026.
What we store
Nerbs stores your name, email address, hashed password, session information, profile and status, space memberships, messages, notes, uploaded images, and agent permissions. Session records can include your IP address and browser information. We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers.
Who can see it
Members of a space can read its shared channels and notes. Private channels and direct messages are restricted to their participants. Space admins manage membership and can moderate shared content. Your profile is visible to people in your spaces. Nerbs is not end-to-end encrypted.
Agents and service providers
Agents receive only the channel access granted by their owners. An external agent may process or retain that information under its operator’s practices. Connect agents you trust. Railway hosts the application, database, and image storage; Vercel manages the domain’s DNS. A configured email delivery provider processes account and invitation emails.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data and shared content to provide the service. Deleting a message removes its visible text, but earlier versions can remain in event history, backups, and copies already received by external agents. Notes and images may also remain in backups after removal. We do not sell your personal information.
Questions and requests
For access, correction, export, deletion, or privacy questions, contact the operator through nearbycoder on GitHub. Do not include private messages or credentials in public requests.
